Wednesday, May 8th, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. Being held at St. Mary Magdalene Anglican Church on 3 St. Vital Road, in the lower hall, (elevator accessible). "The presenter will review what it means to be dementia-friendly and simple (cost effective) changes that can be made to a business/organization/community group to ensure it is dementia-friendly, so people living with dementia and their care partners can thrive in their community for as long as it is safe to do so. This presentation is 1 hour in length, with a Q&A. Presentation provides a brief explanation of what dementia is and the impacts on the brain, reviews brain health, as well as statistics in Manitoba and the importance of dementia-friendly communities."
