Through stories, music, art and film, the seminar is designed to awaken believers and non-believers alike to the beauty and hope of the Kingdom of God as a viable possibility in a world longing for hope, order and blessing. Don Stephens is a 30 yr veteran with Youth With a Mission. The seminar grew out of a decade of Christian work in post war Sarajevo, Bosnia, where it became evident that the scaled-back "personal" message of 21st century Christianity was fully inadequate for addressing the desperation and need of an entire culture in the throes of disintegration and chaos. This seminar has been presented throughout North America, Europe and the Middle East.
Cost: $40 (includes lunch on Saturday) 7pm-9pm Thurs/Fri, 9am-3pm Saturday
On Sunday at 7pm there will also be a free concert. Don Stephens will present a full-length piano concert featuring a variety of popular, semi-classical, and inspirational music around the theme of "Beauty... the reflection of God." Find Don at facebook.com/kingdomman.don and donstephens.org. The concert will be opened by special guests Island Breeze - a polynesian worship arts group with YWAM, seeking to know God and make Him known through his inherent gifts and expressions for the nations. They partner with churches, ministry groups, and First Nations communities in Manitoba for the glory of God.
