Where come as you are and all are welcome means just that! God’s grace is open to everyone that will receive it!!
After Paul spent 3 chapters revealing our need for a Saviour and revealing our fallen state. The Gospel is the mirror that we don't always want to see but we need to see it. Now we see how it is not about knowing the law and following the checklists, it's not about how bad or good you have been.
Jesus doesn't look at our rap sheets before deciding if He is willing to save us, He doesn't count our tattoos or piecing's, He doesn't look over all of our scars. He looks into our innermost parts and shows us the path to redemption and righteousness.
The beauty in those first 3 chapters is that God knows all this is going on in us and yet He still loves His creation and offers redemption through Jesus for all who will receive it!!
It's not about works....IT'S ALL ABOUT FAITH!!
