Have you ever found yourself in a position to help someone through a difficult situation and yet struggled with knowing what to say or even how to say it?
SBC is now offering the Introduction to Counselling course with Professor Sheila Ginter, on Tuesday evenings to make it accessible for everyone who wishes to gain strength in their people skills and feel more confident in knowing how to help. You will learn basic counselling concepts in both theory and practice based on biblical truth and scientific evidence, such as: practical body language, developing good questions, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and pastoral counselling. This is an invite for pastors, youth workers, caregivers, parents or mentors who wish to expand their knowledge and increase their effectiveness in people care.
