These are challenging times, and navigating the world today can be draining. It's vital to stay connected to the peace that passes understanding and practice radical self care. This includes making time for the activities that bring you joy. You cannot create from a place of exhaustion or fear.
If you are looking for a time space to create in, to paint, write, knit, crochet, puzzle, doodle, nap or dream, then Mud In Your Eye Creatives would like to offer you that time and space.
Thursday evenings, beginning October until December 4, from 6-8:00, you are welcome to enjoy some Creative Recharge at Winnipeg Christian Centre, 230 Provencher Blvd.
What to expect: A bright atmosphere with easels for painters, table for writers, comfy chairs for dreamers and space to create.
Set up and chit chat happens from 6-6:15, after which time we ask that you refrain from talking and enjoy interacting with your Creator. Gentle worship music will being, followed by nature sounds, creating an environment of peace. Worship music will begin again at 7:45, signaling it's time to clean up. Plenty of time for chit chat and prayer if needed at 8:00.
There is no cost involved, bring your own supplies, however if you are in need of canvas, paint, paper, brushes, glue...we have those available.
