Incantatem is an a cappella choir that performs nerdy music at venues, conventions, and pop culture-based events in Winnipeg.
The title of our show, Bardic Inspiration, originated from the spell that a bard in Dungeons & Dragons can cast, which inspires the party through music. In this, our second show by the same name, we also pay homage to Shakespeare and his role in penning themes that are repeated in our twenty-first century tales. In fact, the Bard himself might just make a special appearance.
Some of the songs we will perform include the theme from Battlestar Galactica, The Legend of Zelda medley, Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego, and music from Star Wars. There will also be trivia and prizes! All are welcome. Suggested donation is $5.
